Even though my kids have passed the stage of listening to the bouncy, happy sort of kid’s music with repetitive, but educational lyrics, they are still music lovers. Their tastes still lean toward bouncy, happy, dance-able music, but the educational part is questionable.
As my family knows, I love music – pretty much any kind (except heavy metal – seriously, what is up with that?), and I think it’s a wonderful way to engage small children and teach them things without them even realizing that they’re learning stuff.
I’m also a big fan of “free”, so when I came across Marcie Joy’s website & Youtube channel offering a free music download, I stopped to take a look and listen. The download is to help promote her upcoming new children’s album, the first single of which is a cute song called “Fetch”, that’s all about how fun it is to play games with little dogs. I thought I’d take a moment to share it with you. I hope you and your little ones enjoy it!:
