Outer Banks Vacation Rental – Almost Better than Home

0

As many visitors have discovered for themselves, there’s just something about the south.  Maybe it’s the southern hospitality, the perpetual warm breezes and the general slower pace of life, but summer or winter, traveling to the southern states is a special treat that harkens back to a simpler time.

If you’ve had the good fortune to visit North Carolina, and especially the Outer Banks, you’ve no doubt been charmed by this lovely vacation spot.  There are so many vacation rentals in the area, with quite a few of them being offered through top-notch local real estate agents such as Carolina Designs, that it can be difficult narrowing down to just one choice for your vacation accommodations.

As part of a family of four, though, I’m quite partial to Seahawk, which is on the Soundside of the area.  It’s not just because the Seahawk has great views, easy access to the beach and lots of privacy, although those things are a big plus.  What makes it so attractive, especially to families, is the coziness and set-up that makes it feel like a real home.  With a game room, pool table, sports bar, two master suites, video library, 10 TVs, stereo, Xbox, grill, private pool and hot tub, why would anyone want to stay anywhere else?

I love being at home, but most days at our house are filled with a flurry of activity.  Between school, work, piano lessons, dance classes, errands, household chores, etc., my family rarely gets to enjoy down-time just hanging out together around the house.   A leisurely vacation centered around a hub that has all the comforts of home, without having to plan any activities or entertainment – because it’s all right there at our fingertips – sounds a lot like heaven to me!
