Phillips Norelco Shaver Review: The BodyGroom
Ever since I started cutting my own hair to save money, it has been a process of trial and error. I bought a set of clippers at Costco that came with instructions on how to do a few simple hair styles. I picked the easiest and, after a few practice rounds, I got the hang of it. I did have to walk around with interesting looking hair for a few weeks and once had to go almost completely bald when the guard came off mid-cut but, I eventually go it.
However, styling my body hair or “manscaping” in the parlance of the day, has
never been my priority. Twisting and contorting to avoid strangling myself in a clipper chord and slicing myself up with a razor is not something I enjoy doing. I do trim some to remain clean looking for my wife and to avoid someone mistaking me for Sasquatch and getting shot walking shirtless on the beach. But I haven’t put that much effort into it.
That may all change now. The Norelco Bodygroom makes this process quite easy. It is small, cordless and waterproof so it is easy to maneuver around my torso and I can take it wherever I please, including in the shower. This also makes clean-up less of a chore. It has various clipper sizes and a close shave side in case I ever want to be an Olympic swimmer. I only wish I could use it for my facial and head hair as well. Then, I’d be all set.
