Buying in Boulder: The Time is Now
Crisp, clear skies, fresh mountain air, beautiful, scenic landscapes, rolling hills…this is Boulder. Colorado, long known for its agreeable weather and natural beauty, is now leading the way in the new era of real estate. As the economy limps along and the housing market tries to recover from several years of decline, Boulder and the surrounding cities are showing signs of positive growth. Sales are on the rise, albeit at a very conservative number, but it’s an increase none-the-less for the first time since 2005. This is definitely cause for optimism…and certainly a reason to make a move now if you’re in the buying market. There are still lots of great bargains to be found not just in Boulder, but in Lafayette, Broomfield, Denver and other nearby communities. As the economy begins to bounce back, however, all the recession-era opportunities will be a thing of the past. When that time comes, Boulder CO homes for sale may again be unattainable for many. Because of course, as such a desirable place to live, those prices will be the first ones on the rise. So, jump on the short-sale and foreclosure slashed-price bandwagon while you can; it won’t last for too much longer.
