Holiday Scales

With all of the entertaining and cooking going on at this time of the year, household scales certainly see a lot of action. Between weighing the food portions for recipes on the one in the kitchen and then later stepping onto the one in the bedroom or bathroom (which has probably been stored in the closet for most of the year), we get a lot of holiday mileage out of these handy little household appliances. If only we would pay attention to the numbers on them during the rest of the year as well!
