Getting personal loans these days is not as easy as it used to be. Just a few years ago, the pervasiveness of predatory lenders had even the most cash-strapped, poorly-situated prospects walking out of banks and car dealerships with loan paperwork securely in hand. Not so anymore. Laws and policies changed along with an ailing economy on the rebound. Thankfully consumers have also gotten savvier about bad debt vs. good debt…and hopefully this will make it easier for them choose wisely in the future when considering a major purchase.
