Too Good to Be True
When I first heard about online classes that colleges were offering I didn’t know if it was too good to be true. I had recently come down with an illness that was going to keep me out of school for at least a semester. Instead of opting out of school completely I decided to sign up for these online classes and give them a try instead of lagging behind on my school work and having to make it up in the summer time. I am a nursing student and I was exalted to find out that the college offered nursing classes I could take using hughesnet. I stayed home that semester nursing my illness while at the same time learning how to treat people for illness. The course material I learned online was the same course material all of my class mates were learning and I was able to always converse with an online professor during scheduled class times so I did not feel isolated or left alone to study on my own. There was always a teacher there helping the online class through the material. The tests were also administered online and were not any easier or harder than the tests I had taken physically on campus. I passed the semester with success and recovered.
