I love technology as much as the next person and I appreciate the amazing things that automation can do, but sometimes there really is no substitute for good-old fashioned person-to-person contact. I don’t know anyone that likes talking to those automated voices when you call a customer service line and by the same token, it is extremely frustrating to encounter problems with your website and have no idea how to get help because you don’t have managed web hosting. In my opinion, it’s worth it to pay a little more per month to have someone to call, than to wait until something breaks down and you have to pay an arm and a leg (by the hour!) to get help from your local retail computer store.
