Crossing Car Insurance Off the Christmas List

Well, I’ve finally checked one more thing off my list on the road to becoming debt-free. Up until recently, we’ve had to pay extra money for “special” car insurance for my husband because State Farm wouldn’t insure him on our main policy. He’d had 3 accidents (all minor fender-benders) on his record in less than 5 years or something like that, so he had to go through a safe driving course plus a penalty period before they would add him again to the policy. Thankfully, the penalty is over and we only have to pay for one insurance policy, thank goodness! Now it’s on to chipping away at the credit card debt – all while avoiding the holiday messages to spend, spend, spend!
