About
Hi there! So glad you stopped by…
My name is Tisha Berg and I’m a wife and stay at home mom to 2 beautiful and very energetic girls, ages 7 and 5. I
always knew that when my kids were old enough, I wanted them to see me enjoying life for myself and not only through the satisfaction of being their mom. As a stay-at-home mom, I put aside other dreams that I had and sometimes that’s just what’s necessary. I finally realized, however, that reclaiming those dreams helped make me a better mom.
Although I think I’ve always had an entrepreneurial bent, the idea of creating my own business didn’t fully kick in until I had kids and was experiencing a major financial crisis. Out of necessity, I started looking for jobs that I could do from home or without having to get childcare for my kids. What followed were stints as a Mystery Shopper, Freelance Editor, Online Customer Care Agent, Merchandiser, Ghostwriter and, finally, after completing a year-long course and 6-month internship, a Certified Hypnotherapist. It was the latter experience that led me to seriously explore the world of blogging and online marketing.
Switching Gears
In my quest to find ways to promote my hypnotherapy business, I became quite
involved with all things blogging and social media. Unfortunately, my marketing efforts failed to help me build the kind of thriving hypnotherapy practice I had hoped for, but a very serendipitous outcome of all the time I had spent online was the re-discovery of my love of writing.
About 2 years ago, I decided to mainly focus my knowledge and talents on copywriting, as it seemed to be an aspect of marketing that gave most small business owners a lot of anxiety. For me, however, writing is exhilarating. Coming up with new ways of weaving words together to express an idea is one of the most exciting things I can think of to do (I know. I probably need to get out more.)

Schedule some time with me for a free 1-hour consultation and I will help you set fire to that spark you’ve been nursing. You WILL be inspired…and I will give you that push you need to take action. Just call me your personal cheerleader – lots of other people have! (well, they haven’t called me YOUR cheerleader, but…well, you know what I mean). Seriously – call me. Either I can show you the most effective and time-efficient ways to complete the work you need to have done, or I can do it for you.

[...] Biz Mommy is an Internet Radio and blog devoted to Busy Mommies who also own businesses. As an author many of us start of writing because we love it. However, with the growth from writing, to pitching to agents and publisher and ending with publishing promotion it becomes obvious that we are running a business. Most writers don’t start writing with the realization that they are in the business of selling their books. It doesn’t start with the agent, it starts with us. [...]
Wow! Love your site! I just subscribed. You’re a completely industrious, creative, and inspiring blogger, from what I can see here. So much great content, I’ll have to return again and again. Thanks for saying hi on my blog- great to connect with you!

I am enjoying your site as well. Reading about your journey to where you are now was the icing. I have some more looking around to do, but was wonder if you can help me or guide me to a few things that you mentioned. SEO, sponsors and advertising. My blog is small right now, just joined SITS, and am always looking for ways to grow my blog and businesses.
